moving to houston!!! what to do on the airplane??

    i never thought this would happen, but im moving to houston!!! im a huge fan of the rockets!!! so excited...
    might even get to go one of their games next year!!
    anyways im going to be taking a plane from san jose, CA to houston, TX the day after school ends (June 11th)
    its gonna be a 5hour plane ride approxiamately (with 1 stop)

    waht are somethings i can do to keep myself entertained???

    Hope you like it here. I presume you've never traveled via airplanes before? Read a book or a newspaper or take nap if their in-flight entertainment options are lacking.

    not to play debbie downer, but if there is one city (area) i would rather live in besides houston, it's the bay area.

    depending on your airline, you may have an in flight film to watch. otherwise, take a book, or laptop, or just sleep.

    It's a 5hr plane ride vs several years of your life in Houston.

    start coversations with the people around you. They will enjoy it since they are stuck on the plane as well. Some people can be shy on the plane since they are probably nervous about flying, but just keep try and keep the convo going.

    More than likely, it's a 3-hour plane ride because of the 2 time zone differences from California to Texas...unless it's not a commercial airliner or a ridiculously slow plane.

    My mistake, there's a stop. Bring a laptop and watch some videos, listen to music, take a nap, or talk to your neighbors. Not much else to do besides mile high club.
