Moving on up to 5th!!

Moving up is great, but I would love to match up against Seattle in the playoffs. We cause so many matchup problems for them...Yao scares the bejeezes out of them.

Thats the point of my post. We are probably not goiing to get to play them.

 

Plus news out of Seattle is suggesting something is going wrong with the team. Lewis and Allen arent happy at all and Fortson has been trouble in practice lately too

 

I've heard Allen is unhappy, but Lewis and Fortson too? Now I really would like to matchup against them in the playoffs. Its a shame we are doing so well right now....HEHEHEH...

 

heck, I'd love to pick up Fortson in the offseason...maybe not as a starter, but can you imagine the beat down he'd give guys who would want to play hack a Yao?? He could also be our backup center if Deke goes...

 

I thought about that too, but it was quickly brought to my attention that he is a cancer in the locker room. He might screw up the chemistry. Of course that is all hearsay. I have no evidence of that. If what I hear is wrong, then I wouldn't mind picking him up.

 

Looking at the Mavs schedule the rest of the way, they have a tough 9 game stretch coming up starting on wednesday. If they go 4-5 or even 5-4 we have a good chance to catch them. Of course we have to continue to win and we also have a few tough games coming up soon (Boston, Minn, Miami, and S.A). If we go 7-2 in that same stretch then we could be tied or 1 game behind them with 7-8 games left.

thats true...but the last game against the Sonics will be the last gme of the season and they should rest their starters since they will have already clinched the division by then.

I dont think it will be easy to catch the Mavs but i do think if we keep playing the way we are and the Mavs go on a small slide (like going 5-4) then could catch them.

 

Believe! This could be our year! At the front we all thought this year was wasted and all of a sudden it turns around and now all we have to do is believe.....Cause I feel it, I hear, Its the HEART OF A CHAMPION!!!!

 

if we won this year, would this team be more clutch that the first championship team? they got off to a great start IIRC, we had to fight our way up from the bottom of the conference.
