I'm not afraid to admit that I have shed tears at more than a few movies. I have friends that think that is "gay" (yes, they still use 90's homophobic terminology). Now that I think about it, most of my friends feel this way. Anyway, which movies have contributed to you shedding a few tears? I'll start off with a few... 1. Old Yeller (I was young when I watched this but I cried everytime...) 2. Patch Adams (When Monica Potter is killed, I felt so bad for Robin Williams's character...) 3. Hotel Rwanda (How can you not cry when watching this movie...) 4. I am Sam (I cried a couple times when Penn's daughter is taken away...) 5. A Walk to Remember (When Mandy Moore dies it almost felt real...) 6. Alpha Dog (The ending to this movie made it hard not to cry...)
Almost EVERY Disney movie. The earliest I can remember is E.T. I cry with every movie where the hero at the end shoots the bad guy and becomes his huckleberry after telling him "You're no daisy!".
I never really "cry", but I get some teary eye feelings LION KING when Mufasa dies, anyone with a soul cried! I really cried during that, but I was a kid. braveheart ending vanilla sky (no clue why, it was weird) boyz in the hood when Cuba's best friend dies probably lots of others I just don't remember
Casshern. That might be the only movie that's ever made me cry multiple times in one viewing... and it still does it to me no matter how many times I watch it. I definitely cried the first time I saw The Power of One, also.
I didn't cry but that deeply affected me for a long time. Passion of Christ was obviously very emotional. Gladiator has such a beautiful ending its almost hard not to get a little misty eyed 300 and Braveheart endings also get me a bit.
This movie made me cry when I was a kid in the '70s. I haven't seen it since and I'm kind of scared to.
old yeller. no bambi though...I was hunting dear when i saw that since someone admitted home alone, i will admit one too...i got a little frog in my throat at the end of "A league of their own" there was also a movie i vaguely remember that i think had dicaprio in it...late 80's possibly ealry 90's that i cried in.
road to perdition forest gump ending saving private ryan when vin diesel dies, and the ending Damn you Tom Hanks!
Certain scenes in otherwise non-teary movies: 1. Taxi Driver- when DeNiro's sitting in the chair with the gun in his hand listening to "Late for the Sky" and watching American Bandstand- the peak of loneliness. 2. Midnight Cowboy- the bus scene at the end. Nuff said. 3. JFK- believe it or not, Kevin Costner's speech at the end. Good stuff. 4. The Searchers- John Wayne outside the door and everyone else goes in. 5. Once Upon a Time in America- multiple scenes- when Noodle's friend gets shot. 6. McCabe and Mrs. Miller- the bridge scene with Keith Carradine 7. Titanic- yes, when Jack floats down 8. One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest- Jack is laid to rest. 9. Forrest Gump- He knows what love is. 10. 2001: A Space Odyssey- HAL 9000 is disconnected permanently. (just kidding on #10).
"Friday Night Lights" -when Boobie finds out he might not play anymore "Antoine Fisher"- When his grandmother welcomes him into the family Rosewood- anger then tears then anger "Pursuit of Happyness"- Will Smith was excellent in that movie. I identified w/ it. "We Are Marshall"- come on now, good stuff "Pee Wee's Big Adventure"- He saved the snakes too
