I can't remember a time when there were so many movies either in the works or ready for release about which I have been so excited. And all of the sequels? Man! In no particular order...

    2002
    1. Spiderman-have you seen the new teaser? Unreal. The effects look spectacular.
    2. LOTR II-nuff said
    3. HArry Potter II
    4. M2B-Min in Black II.
    5. Episode II.
    6. Blade II.
    7. Spy kids II-anyone with kids understands why this will be a must-see.

    2003
    1. X2-The sequel to X-Men.
    2. Daredevil-Ben Affleck as a blind superhero
    3. Fantastic 4
    4. Matrix reloaded
    5. MAtrix revisited
    6. The Hulk
    7. LOTR III
    8. T3
    9. X2
    10. Zorro unmasked

I just noticed that MArvel comics seems to be luring all of those kids from the middle 80's that are now adults into the theatres. Smart move.

Anybody without kids should realize why Spy Kids 2 is a must see.

I'd add Minority Report for this year.

I'm curious about Scooby Doo. I watched the cartoon as a kid, so I'm wondering how a movie with human actors and computer animated Scooby will turn out.

I'm also interested in The Hulk. Anger rules!!!

Im looking forward to the Incredible Hulk. I used to watch that show every day when I was a kid and Lou Ferigno was a haus. That dude had some serious muscles.

Any word on when this movie will be released?

Joseph Kahn (Hoston Bred Director, directs music videos such as Britney Spears, Black Eyed Peas, Moby f/ Gwen Stefani, U2 [stuck in the moment video, in the fire err astrodome..? riight right.] Papa Roach, DMX, and much more crap on MTV) is going to direct a movie called Lazarus starring the disgruntled Rapper DMX. And possibly, your daughters favorite rapper Eminem. (or is it Ludacris these days?)

Tell me if this plot sounds familiar.

A musician dies, comes back to life to avenge his death.

Yeah, Yeah, that's the original Crow Film. This is the "fourth" installment of the Crow Franchise. Okay, this time, it's not a rock star played by Brandon Lee. It's a rap star played by DMX.

Honestly, I think the movie is going to suck. But Joseph Kahn is a good man. He's an alumnus of my school.

Spider-Man's going to suck arse... The Green Goblin's costume looks ****ing stupid and Tobey Maguire doesn't look a thing like Pete.

... And don't even get me started on the web-shooters... :(

gee...don't ask my wife that question!!!

by the way..what's the deal with Ben Affleck playing Jack Ryan in the next Tom Clancy movie??? are you serious??? doesn't exactly carry the weight of Harrison Ford...particularly when you consider the character is supposed to be older than he was in the previous films!!! i'm particularly disappointed about that..

    MadMAx,

In The Sum of all FEars Ben is resurrecting the role of Jack Ryan. In the book Ryan was head of the CIA but due to the obvious age conflict the screenplay was written with Ryan as a simple analyst, much like the first in the Clancy line, Hunt for Red October. It should be fun to try and forget the other movies. Personally, I would have preferred Ford but I'll definitely check it out.

What's up with Michael Clarke Duncan starring as the Kingpin? The character is supposed to be an old, fat white man.
And Jennifer Garner as Elektra? The character is from Spain. Hope she's working on the accent.

That was the end of Debt of Honor and carried over into the next book, the title of which I can't remember - Executive something or other or something like that (but it wasn't Sum of All Fears).

Actually, the Kingpin's mass is said to be solid muscle.
