I can't believe they not only made Constantine American but cast freaking Keanu as well. Oh, and they set in in LA. Way to go, Hollywood.
yeah, and in king arthur, guinevere ends up being a fighting woman instead of a damsel in distress. then again its keira knightley and she wears a lowcut battle bra, so i doubt many will complain.
I used to check out the John Constantine Hellblazer comics back in the day and even own 3 (becausue of the guest artists - David Lloyd and Dave McKean) in my collection. Making the character American and having Keanu play him will just ruin the movie in my opinion. I have yet to see a decent live action movie made from a comic book. I'd rather see the studio spend the cash on a really good animated version, but Americans still view cartoons as kid stuff. Probably will never change.
