Moss / Richard Ayoade FTW. I'm glad the IT crowd guys are starting to show up in US films. Chris O'Dowd didn't really get a lot of great lines in Bridesmaids but he's hilarious too. As for this movie; the previews looked hilarious -- can't wait.
Agreed! I'm was so bummed when I found out there won't be a season 5 of The IT Crowd - it literally crushed my day.
For some reason, I thought of this when I saw "the watch": "The way your dad looked at it, this watch was your birthright. He'd be damned if any [derogatory Asian term]'s gonna put their greasy yellow hands on his boy's birthright, so he hid it, in the one place he knew he could hide something: his ass. Five long years, he wore this watch up his ass." ---Christopher Walken, "Pulp Fiction"
Looks like it will suck. Nowadays these comedies are just a combination of either one or two from the following: Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill, Jackie Chan, Benn Stiller, Will Ferrell, or someone from the current cast of SNL with a zany story. Nothing wrong with that if it works. I never understood why in movie posters the names never match the photos the names are over. Anyone know? Maybe The_Yoyo knows... or someone who works for companies who make the posters? EDIT: Speak of the MOVIE CONNOISSEUR. POSTED JUST BEFORE I DID.
It's in order of billing. Ben Stiller is the top draw, Vince Vaughn second...and no one has heard of Moss before. The truth is they should have taken a picture that lines up with the names, because it looks awkward.
Good point. Could have still PhotoChopped each figure for the right order, maybe? I see how Vaughn has to be in the middle. What about Stiller and Vaughn in the middle but with bigger fonts?
Surprised no one talking about this. Saw it yesterday. Hands down funniest movie I've seen this year. Hillarious! Reminded me of Dodgeball from 2004.
Is it really? I didn't go see it because the reviews were so poor. Spoiler Plus I could tell just from the previews that Moss dies early in the movie and everyone else lives. Kill off the minority as usual.
