Wow, I can't believe there isn't already a thread on this. You guys are slippin. First, I was a big fan of the first two movies in this franchise, so this one really needed to impress me in order to keep up. I bought tickets online a few days ago to see this at the Alamo Drafthouse, and I'm glad I got them early cause every showing was sold out when I got there. Well needless to say this movie was AWESOME and you all need to get your asses to theater this weekend and check it out. It's more intense, more action, more suspenseful, more everything than the first two movies. Jason Bourne is a total badass. The action scenes in this thing kept me on the edge of my seat nearly the entire movie. The best action movie I've seen in several years. But don't take my word for it, even Rotten Tomatoes thinks it's fresh: So yeah, GO SEE IT!
i saw this thursday night but wasnt feelign too well yesterday to post anything about it. but i thoroughly enjoyed it. this movie has a bit of a different feel than the first two but it really does a good job in closing the trilogy imo. i like they interweave the 2nd movie ending into this third movie. Spoiler so was webb/bourne involved with nikki when they were in treadstone? she seems to be helping him in all the movies without any real reason and she does mention to him in this movie that he really does remember nothing. oh yeah webb/bourne and i share the same birthday when they flashed his real birthday i was like oh crap thats my birthday recommend it a good way to end the summer movies for though i probably will go see superbad but not do the opening night deal which i did for like 6-7 movies this summer
This is the only movie I've ever gone to the very first showing in town for (well, regularly scheduled.....didn't go to any sneak previews). Loved it, but I'm a huge fan of the series. Actually didn't like it any more than the first two, but for me......liking it as much says a lot. Once again, some great fight scenes and car chases.
I am planning to see it. Been a big fan of Matt Damon ever since the Talented Mr. Ripley came out, and everything he's done since has only helped add to it. I think he's the best young actor in Hollywood...by far.
he is 37 i wouldnt say that is old but i dont think thats young either but yeah i have gained respect for his range of acting
My roommates saw it without me last night (because they're ay-holes like that) and they're going again tonight cus they really loved it. I think I'm gonna come too. Hey, lets make this a CF night and meet up and watch together!
I saw it. Non stop action. One of the best fight scenes ever and one of the best car chase scenes ever. I am still not crazy about the "shakey camera" method of filming, but it was very entertaining. The ending will likely keep this series going.
Haven't seen it yet but I'm I should get around to it this weekend. On a slightly related note, Matt Damon is the man. I guess I should add that this "preview" is courtesy of Jimmy Kimmel Live. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/T23oNcCFriE"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/T23oNcCFriE" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
MATT DAMON IS FREAKING AWESOME. the movie was so bad ass. i seen "live free or die hard", "transformers" and bourne ultimatum and man..this one kicks the crap out of the other 2. the entire movie i sat on the edge cause it was good scenes after another. and it's so crazy how they intergrated the 2nd and 3rd movie scene wise. i am telling you..u gotta go see this movie. it's worth every penny.
Saw it last night. I'm a fan of the first two, so I had high hopes going into it, and I was NOT disappointed. If you liked 'Identity' or (especially) 'Supremecy', you'll like this one. Spoiler I was especially impressed with how Greengrass handled the non-action scenes. Surprisingly, my favorite scene was the scene in Waterloo Station when Bourne and the reporter were playing cat-and-mouse with the CIA. Few punches and just one bullet, but that scene had me on the edge of my seat. And was it me, or did Greengrass dial back the shaky camera a bit this time around?
saw it last night and thought it was fantastic. better than the second one and maybe as good as the first.
the shaky camera does annoy me sometimes..but i am so into the scenes i try to ignore it. i didn't think he used it a lot in this one.
not only is he one of the best actors, but an amazing writer aswell. I wish Hugo chavez read the BBS, then he would realize that if you want to invest in a film....you give 18 million dollars to Matt damon and not danny glover or Sean penn
Of course morons have to clap during the movie Spoiler I wanted to yell if you clap you support Al Queda
i really want to see this...because the first 2 did not spark an interest. Now I have to rent the first 2 first.
