Movie studio tours in Hollywood?

    I am taking my family to Hollywood first week of Sept.
    We want to tour a cool movie studio. Unfortunately for some reason most studios don't offer tours on Weekends. Why is that.
    The only ones that offer weekend tours are NBC and Universal but with Universal you have to buy park tickets.

    Any suggestions?

    Sony does one but their studio is in Culver City

    We have a car so driving would not be a problem but Sony website says that tours are Mon - Fri

    I don't think Warner Bros does, but I love visiting their lot. ;)

    Edit: I meant on the weekend.. I know they do them during the week

    I went to Universal last November and it was ok but nothing special...Sony was cool as we were staying somewhat close by and we went during the week.
