I went to a screening for this movie last night and left blown away eager to get out on the floor and start busting moves. Ok so plot wise, dialog wise the movie is terrible and corny but seriously when going to a dance movie I am not looking for dramatic plots or profound words. For those who follow the Step Up franchise Moose goes to college and sure enough gets involved into a dance crew called the House of Pirates who have to win the world jam to keep their club/house from being sold at public auction. the catch their rival, the House of Samurai is trying to their club to bring shame to the house of pirates. the dance scenes were great and the guy who plays Mr. Roboto is just sick the 3d effects were good and bad...it was bad when it had some gimmicky parts when they had water come at you or icee (you'll get it when you see it) that annoys me an any 3-d movie but the scenes where they have a dancer start pulling hand/arm moves right in front of you makes it cool looks like they are battling right in front of you. the dance sequences were great and while one scene was a bit similar to the rain dance finale in the 2nd movie it was done differently and done pretty well. the final dance battle scene is pretty sweet and had my blood pumping. my friend and I were ready to battle right there watching it basically if you like dance movies like stomp the yard, you got served etc... step up 3-d is for you if not then yeah its gonna be a waste of your time for sure. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1193631/ says its out august 4th

she isnt in the third one there is a lead girl though that looks similar to her so it can get confusing.
