Step-Brothers came out on DVD today (Tuesday). I believe this is Will Ferrell's best since Old School. It reeks of pure improv genius. Highly recommended from me. In honor of it, here's an absolutely hilarious NSFW clip of a music video that the two characters make in the movie. It shouldn't give hardly anything about the plot away. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/0Veqz8W98iA&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/0Veqz8W98iA&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
C'mon...you're better than that. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=151555&highlight=ferrell+step+brothers
I knew there was a thread on it, but I had no way to find it. My member status hasn't been updated yet. No search function for me.
I didn't think it was all that great, I thought the trailer was hilarious, then this disappointed me the only part that made me laugh was Spoiler "you sound like a combination of Fergie and Jesus"
I lol'd only once, at the tea bagging of the drum set. Other than that, meh. This is coming from a huge Will Ferrel fan.
That should NEVER be your excuse. I will check this movie out on DVD. It seems dumb hilarious. Yeap. I'll like it.
i thought the trailer sucked and i was beginning to sour on will ferrell but this movie was hilarious... watched with my pops yesterday and he was rolling...
I can't for the life of me rip... er, I mean 'back up' this movie at all... I'm using RipIt4Me, DVDDecrypter, then FixVTS... it always gets stuck at 94%... recommendations on a good rippe... I mean, er, software to back up the DVD?
I thought this movie was great. Made me LOL more than once. You should check it out. Will and John C. Reilly have great chemistry. They work off each other wonderfully.
This movie was wrong on sooo many levels...I laughed alot but I like that kind of humor...A little to much use of curse words, but still laughed...definitely not for children...
I know it's pretty juvenile and overused in movies but when JCR let one rip during that interview scene I couldn't quit laughing.
I had high expectations...but this can simply not be compared to Old School. Old School = Crude, but genius. Step Brothers = Crude and juvenile.
