was the first one, the one with the cigarette and the guy from men in tights? maybe it was because i picked it up midway through the movie, but i thought it was corny.
i actually started from the middle and thought it was cheesey too. especially with the horrible acting...watching it from the beginning, i thought it was pretty good. how the hell did they get danny glover in the first one? is his career sliding that fast?
I've enjoyed all the Saw films. In the first two, Jigsaw was the protagonist, in a way. The third one was more of a gorefest than social commentary, but still entertaining. I'm pretty sure the series will degrade like all horror franchises do, but I'm hoping to get at least one more semi-decent movie out of the series...
I've enjoyed all three...first one was definitely the best...second one had good puzzles but the characters sucked...and the third was decent but again the characters weren't anything special. Looks like they're gonna stretch this into another Halloween or Jason or Friday franchise, which is a shame...whatever freshness it did have is long gone. I actually thought the next one was gonna be a prequel which would have been interesting, but oh well.
I liked the 2nd one the most... 1st one was good. Not a huge fan of #3. I'm really looking forward to this one.. but I'm guessing I'll be disappointed like I was with #3
I enjoyed all of them and am looking forward to seeing this one albeit it seems like their stretching it out quite a bit now given the main culprit isn't supposed to be around for this one. I guess he set up enough traps to last a few more movies before he left. lol I'll tell you what really grossed me out is watching that scene in "Turistas" where that dude was cutting out that young woman's parts while talking about how this was payback for the gringos or whatever. I was actually pissed off watching that scene and walking furiously around the house mumbling some sh*t about "payback". I only saw it the other day. I'm actually a little surprised that the MPAA allowed that scene. I wanted to reach in the TV and rip that dude doing the cutting to shreds. That scene really drew out my emotional dark side. I felt like I could have killed someone in those few moments as payback. lol
Have watched the first 3 and I thought the first one ok, always thought the first one was kind of a cheap verison of Seven, the sequels have gone down hill and don't expect much from this next one.
I didnt like the 2nd cuz the characters sucked. especially that big mexican guy who wanted to kill everyone. that didnt quite make sense to me. saw 2 had the potential to be pretty good. saw 3...no potential at all i'll see saw 4, but i wont pay for...it'll be a 2 for 1
I saw the first one and was fairly repulsed. No desire to see the others. I can see how you'd be fascinated by such a movie. I can see how you'd find it interesting. I can't see how anyone could enjoy it.
why cant you see why people could enjoy it...it's a movie. why cant people enjoy a movie? help me understand that comment
I'm watching it, I'm not as pumped to see it as I was with the first 2 sequels. The first one was classic, the 2nd one was pretty intense, the 3rd, was a good one, tied in REALLY nicely with the first 2, real interested to see how the 4th one will turn out.
Not really interested in watching the 4th. They should've gone with a prequel with this one. Oh well.. I'd rather read some spoilers from here instead. Anyone?
