I am a huge fan of the game series but the movies have been pretty bad. I am surprised that they are making another movie but the previews look decent.
I like the RE movies. They're fun. The problem you suckers have is that you're expecting too much out of them. They're zombie movies. It's a sub-genre that is defined by suck.
I have beat all the Resident Evil games (not RE 5) and was so excited when the first movie came out.... but it sucked.... and so have the rest.... and so will this one....
All I expected out of them was to remain true to the look, feel, and overall atmosphere of the games themselves. Instead, they went out and made a bunch of action movies. Bad action movies.
I have beat every single Resident Evil game. Thought the second movie was better than any of them. They made Nemesis a p***y though.
Fair enough. To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of the games, although I did play the first few. I meant 'suckers' in a sweet, kitty-fun way.
Apocalypse Zombie movies are fun to watch. Never went to the theatre for any of the Resident Evil movies but I did enjoy them on video at home. It's a stupid fun entertainment.
The first one (game) is def. the best..... Killing the giant plant.....sharks in the lab......all the mind boggling puzzles..the huge ass snake in the attic room...shooting tyrant with a ****ing bazooka... AHH....the memories
I hadn't even played an RE game before 5 (yeah, I know I've missed out) and even I thought the movies sucked balls. I thought the Silent Hill movie (didn't play that game either) was better. Not that it was a great movie either, I just found it more entertaining. I did like the computer animation one, Resident Evil: Degeneration, though.
