I didnt see a thread about this. If there is, please lock it up Has anyone else seen this movie? It's on limited release. Not every movie theater has it, but the AMC 24 on willowbrook does. I thought it was a really good film...Christian Bale is moving up my fav. actors list pretty quick..

I haven't seen the film but there was a very interesting interview with the director, Werner Herzog, on NPR. I had not heard of it before hand, but the interview made me want to see the film.
Yeah, I hadn't heard of it until my bro told me about it. He heard about it on NPR. I havent heard the interview yet, but i'll do so after this post...Thanks for sharing oh crap...he really did help produce that???? we were kind of joking around about it when his name came up at the beginning....
THANKS for this interview I applaud Elton Brand for being apart of a "serious" movie and not something stupid like "Soul Plane" and I appluad Christian Bale for signing on to do a low budget movie that nobody will ever hear about
I saw it a few weeks ago up here in Dallas and I thought it was an excellent movie. Christian Bale really shows off his acting chops again and Steve Zhan, never knew he had that kind of talent in him. Great movie!

i had high hopes for this movie, and couldn't have been more disappointed. don't understand the reviews at all....this movie was borderline awful. one of the hokiest movies i've seen in quite sometime. felt like a disney movie or after school special.
Christian Bale is hardcore, he lost like 60 pounds for The Machinist, then beefed up to 100 more for Batman, now he lost something around 50 lbs again for this movie. Plus he does a sick american accent, I can't tell he is welsh
What exactly did you find hokey? The movie's got an excellent script, superb acting and is shot wonderfully by Herzog. I don't know if you went in expecting Chuck Norris' Missing in Action but Rescue Dawn is an excellent film, IMHO
Remember, Christian Bale is Batman! I saw the movie today. Christian Bale is amazing...as usual. The director did a great job too. The director made it seem like we were eavesdropping on the characters. That made it scarier!
