Universal Pictures and 87North have premiered the first trailer for “Nobody,” the upcoming sequel to the acclaimed Bob Odenkirk-led 2021 action feature.

Odenkirk is back as suburban husband, father and workaholic assassin Hutch
Mansell. Four years after he inadvertently took on the Russian mob, Hutch remains $30 million in debt to the criminal organization.

So he is working it off with an unending string of hits on international thugs. Much as he likes the slam-bang action of his ‘job’, Hutch and his wife Becca
(Connie Nielsen) find themselves overworked and drifting apart.

So, they decide to take their kids (Gage Munroe, Paisley Cadorath) on a short getaway to Wild Bill’s Majestic Midway and Waterpark, the one and only place where Hutch and his brother Harry (RZA) went on a vacation as kids.

With Hutch’s dad (Christopher Lloyd) in tow, the family arrives in the small tourist town of Plummerville for some fun in the sun.

But when a minor encounter with some town bullies yanks the family into the crosshairs of a corrupt theme-park operator (John Ortiz) and his shady sheriff (Colin Hanks), Hutch finds himself the focus of the most unhinged, blood-thirsty crime boss he (or anyone) has ever encountered (Sharon Stone).

Timo Tjahjanto (“The Night Comes For Us”) directs the film from a screenplay by Derek Kolstad, Aaron Rabin, Odenkirk, and Umair Aleem. Odenkirk, Kelly McCormick, David Leitch, Marc Provissiero and Braden Aftergood produce.

Universal releases “Nobody 2” in cinemas on August 15th.

it kinda sounds like the plot to roadhouse. expert ass-kicker goes to a small-town and gets caught up in the rough-and-tumble world of organized crime and refuses to back down or run away.

    paiin dont hurt.

that first one had one of the greatest fight scenes ive ever seen. cant wait for this.

Not trying.to be a dick, I loved the first movie and I'm sure this will be at least OK, but does EVERY movie that doesn't totally bomb need a sequel?

It pretty clearly becomes a cash grab. From a purely artistic standpont, which just saying out loud seems like kind of an archaic idea, these sequels water down some pretty astheticly pleasing and complete stand alone films.

It’s just the nature of the business. There has been plenty of good sequels to action movies. You don’t like fun?

First one was great. Don’t know we need a sequel but said the same thing about John Wick and had no complaints about the sequels. Reminds me I need to see JW4

Speaking of action renaissance, Shout Factory bought the rights to this movie and finally!! American audiences get to see the movie and all its heavenly glory, no more shitty bootleg copies!!

Anyone who loves action movies need to see this at least twice before they die. So, so damned good. Peak John Woo and Chow Yun-Fat.

You said a mouthful. How many dudes here are going to cross 70 and be competing in some sort of marathon? I’ve known too many men who hit 60 and fall off a cliff health-wise because they’re massively unhealthy. They don’t see 70.

Hit a gym, get cardio daily and get your diet in order, bros.

Absolutely. Use it or lose it. Now, if you can't do running that's fine, but get multiple days of exercise in.
