Duno, those werent my pictures...I just found them. Damn cheaters....and I thought that pic was real.
The first one was photoshopped because worth1000.com is a photoshopping contest site. It's a great one too.
I caught something once. I wouldn't necessarily call it a mistake. I even emailed Roger Ebert about it, he followed it up and confirmed it. In the Jim Carey movie Liar Liar, there is a scene near the end where Carey is on a stretcher on an airport runway (I think, I haven't seen the movie in a while). There are fire trucks and such around. In the backround of the crowd you can see Carey dressed in full "Fire Marshall Bill" getup, the character he played on In Living Color. He's in the background making a goofy face.
You should report that here: http://imdb.com/title/tt0119528/goofs Also read about other "goofs" from that movie
My dad lives for movie mistakes. The last time he and I saw a movie together, we watched National Treasure, and we had a contest to see who could catch the most mistakes. The only one I can remember is: at the end, when they're in that huge cavern below whatever church it is, someone's hanging from some falling stairwell that's supposedly hundreds of years old, yet the nails holding it together are shiny new. The easiest mistakes to catch are the scenes with food/drinks in them... The amount consumed quite often is different through the acts of the scene.
You seem to have nailed the mistake regarding the nails Check this out... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0368891/goofs
Here's another I noticed once. In the movie Donnie Brasci, which is set in the 70's, there's a scene where they are in a hangar at the airport. They are walking in the door and behind them you see the tail of a Continental Airlines plane go by. The only problem is the logo on the tail was the one they changed to in the 90's. Edit: It appears IMDB already had that one nailed.
Hehe...good eye...you are right about that... Oh man...the Goofs section at IMDB.com is awsome. Now I wanna go back and re-watch alot of the movies just to catch some of the things that they list....
Here are 2 from 2 classic movies: North by Northwest - In the cafeteria scene where Eva-Marie Saint's character is about to "shoot" Cary Grant's character, there is a little boy with his back to the action who sticks his fingers in his ears before the gun is fired. Psycho - Right after Janet Leigh's character is killed in the bathroom taking a shower, Hitchcock shows this weird shot of her pupil and then backs off from that showing her "dead" on the bathroom floor. Only one problem - if you look closely enough, you will see Leigh's adam's apple move! I read about both of those on us.imdb.com and I wished I had never read the one about the Psycho goof as that now has ruined that scene for me.
http://www.eeggs.com/ That is another good site for easter eggs/mistakes. Not only movies, but it also has sections for software, Music, and TV.
Hell, the Chinese invented everything...who's to say they didn't invent the wristwatch? I think the biggest movie mistake was XXX - State of the Union...that POS only made $13.7 million this weekend. Looks like Ice Cube better go back to making comedies...
Dam, codell beat me to it. One of my all time favorite sites, I can spend hours on there. Wait until you see the mistakes for "Titanic." I've posted a few on there, but every time you think you found one you can post, you look and someones beat you to it. Pugs
