You cant have a hitman movie without blood or brutal executions
the trailer looks awesome. i have a feeling the studio will release a pg-13 version, and then on dvd it will release the unrated more blood + nudity version.
what i don't get is that they make these games that are MA ratings, yet when they make the movie based on the same game, its PG-13, what a bunch of morons in the Hollywood industry. I understand that you want to release it to a broader audience, but your pissing off your original target audience in the first place that played the actual games.
I've never played the game, but will probably watch the movie and get confused. I'm still waiting for a Dragon Ball movie.
I enjoyed the games, and I was excited when this was announced but if its released as PG-13 I will be beyond pissed. I probably will not watch it in theaters.
It was not gory at all but it was basically you going around killing people in different ways. Using wires to choke them and stuff. It was violent.

I fail to see the 'potential'. Looks like another lame quick cash in attempt at a video game franchise. Hopefully I'm wrong, because the Hitman character, with a good writer/director, could be awesome. But....man it's PG 13 for one thing.
Making this PG-13 was a mistake. As much as I like Timothy Olyphant too, I'm not sure he is the right person to play the part
video game movies will almost always be rated pg13 much like comic book movies, they know they can make more money from it by doing so. it looks like a 007 movie. i love the game and the story in the game though. The main character has that crazy look on his face but i dont think he'll cut it as 47, if this movie is not successful i think it will be on his shoulders. will watch though. Awesome trailer.
