[Movie] Hellboy 2: The Golden Army

bad dude looks like one of those warcraft characters.

 

That's cool.

I thought the first one sucked, but the casting and special effects were pretty awesome.

Hopefully they can pull out a better movie this time with the material they have to work with.

 

his sidekicks are just too lame.
like an ugly version of aquaman... if that is not redundant.

 

I liked the first one as well. Didn't love it but definitely enjoyed it. I think the guy who plays Hellboy is perfect for the role.

Thumbs up. Not expecting an A+ movie, but looks like it'll be at least on par with the first. Hopefully a little less pointless character drivel this time.

the first one was an excellent popcorn movie. very entertaining, and I definitely liked the character of Hellboy.

 

The villain is the same dude that was the face splitting vampire in Blade 2, Luke Goss.

 

Did anybody watch Pan's Labyrinth? When I watched the first 30 seconds of the trailer, I thought I was watching Pan's labyrinth, the small insect creatures mirrored the ones in the mentioned movie. I don't know about this film though, to me the trailer doesn't look too promising.

 

Never seen the first one, I've always thought Hellboy looks like a really cheesy looking main character. Almost like a red swortsanegger with sideburns.

 

The first movie was terrible. I cant believe someone actually soaked money into a sequel!

This movie looks awesome.

 

The first trailer I saw, I thought it was Pan's Labyrinth 2. It's so identical that it ruins Hellboy for me prior to even watching the movie. I didn't like the first one so it isn't a big loss.

 

Ok, this is getting closer to release and they have been pumping out these funny promos the last week or 2. Doesn't show anything from the movie, they are just funny.

I'm going tomorrow morning. I didn't see the first, but am looking forward to this one.

 

They had one of those TNT/TBS style back to back showings on FX. 2nd showing is like half over I think.
