Okies, CF geeks, I just saw on AICN.com that the DVD of the first Serenity movie is selling so well that they had to put out a new version to meet demand, and that it has sparked interest in making a new movie: Link My question is, and the 1m question is, if the DVD of the series and movie is doing so well, why won't they re-up the actual show for a season?
Joss has already said if he does another movie he will find a way to include both Book and Wash. I had heard this rumor also... I hope its true!

Spock was killed and came back. Heck, about every major original Star Trek character was bumped off one way or another, only to "live again," or "miraculously come back to life," or "Jim! Bones is alive!!" Kirk was split into two different people, recombined, and pressed on where no man had gone before. (pre-PC... deal with it!) A good writer of SF will bring a dead character back to life if he wants to, and everyone will go, "Ahhhhh!!! Of course!"
My theory: Wash isn't dead, but has been turned into a Reaver, but somehow River finds a way to "cure" him and he's back to normal. As for how they'd bring Book back: perhaps he faked his death so they wouldn't find out about his dark secret: that he was a former Operative for the Alliance (though he'd tried to change his ways). Yeah, I know: I need a life. Personally, I'd like to see then bring back Chiwetel Ejiofor as well. His character was awesome. But at this point any Firefly/Serenity is good Firefly/Serenity.
okay, if China defeats the u.s. than where da **** are all the Chinese people? infact i dont remember even seeing an Asian person in the whole movie.
