Any one catch this movie? I thought it was great! Seems to be a lot of really good movies or scripts coming out of India these days. It was playing at the AMC Studio on Dunvale last weekend. I make a habit of catching a lot of these more obscure films and I especially enjoy the foreign ones. There was another animated foreign film (Israeli I think) called Bashir something, it was about some guy recounting his memories of the Lebanese invasion as an IDF soldier. I thought it was a GREAT movie as well. Very few foreign films have disappointed over the years, I almost always get my money's worth.
you are talking about waltz with bashir i heard good things about it, i think the dvd is out already, if not in the stores definitely on the internet. i havent seen delhi-6 but my friends saw it and said it was really good i may try to check it out in the next week if it is still playing in my area
Do you seriously think they would export their hundreds of Crap movies? Or just there best? Will look into this any non spoiler plot summary? Rocket River BTW I still could not get into Slumdog Millionaire
I saw Delhi-6. What was so great about it? I thought it was really boring and about the same old Hindu-Muslim subject. It was so predictable too (ie the Monkey).
i saw that the ratings were bad on rotten tomatoes...but critics said this could be in the running for best foreign picture.. how was waltz with bashir??
Waltz with Bashir was pretty good, I thought. I enjoyed Delhi-6 as well, cheesy parts and all. They are just a different experience from your typical Hollywood script, I thought they were worth seeing.
