The Poster was released today reminds me of The Dark Knight with Joker: So much secrecy going on with this movie. A rumored plot was leaked, but Warner Bros. quickly removed it. Anyways, it said something about entering peoples minds and dreams something like that. The said budget is a supposed $200 million! It's also going to to be released in IMAX this summer with the same camera used in TDK. Teaser trailer (with TDK like score too lol) <object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/0kr7ENDWshU&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/0kr7ENDWshU&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object> The full trailer is supposed to be released with Sherlock Holmes next week. Can't wait for next year!
I've been pretty excited about this one since news started trickling out last year. I would watch a Gay p*rn if Chris Nolan directed it, the man is a GOD.
Dicaprio is one of those guys... the kind that can act as anyone and still come of dripping and oozing of himself. No matter how hard he tries he is Dicaprio. In every movie. Nothing wrong with that. Just sayin. Ya Nolan probably can't miss can he?
All the big ones are the same imo... Brad Pitt has been basically just Brad Pitt lately except for his last 3 movies....assassination of jesse james was amazing but i just saw brad pitt on the screen. Will Smith, is...well..will smith Jamie Fox. George Clooney. Matt Damon. Robert Downey Jr. etc.... I'm not saying they aren't great actors but all i see is the person and not the character. The only real big star that does for me is Daniel Day Lewis and Johnny Depp, Heath Ledger had got there. I still can't wait to see how Immaginarium of Dr Parnaussus turns out.
Like Moe said, Chris Nolan is a God behind a camera. His movies have less CGI and more real approach to movies. All his movies, that I've seen have left me spellbound.
Man I'm pumped for this. Christopher Nolan just might be my favorite mainstream director working today -- the dude's batting one thousand. The man hasn't made a bad movie. Not one. Is there any other director who can say the same? His resume is flawless. (Yeah, I even liked Insomnia, loved it actually.) The Dark Knight The Prestige Batman Begins Insomnia Memento Following (his debut, minor British film, I think not as good as his other stuff but still not a bad film.) I like all of this film and LOVE three of them (Dark Knight, Memento, The Prestige.) Chris Nolan just might be the only director out there who I will see his movie NO MATTER WHAT -- it could be a documentary about the manufacturing process of toothpaste, and I would see it. I can't frickin wait.
Disagree with that one. I saw the homeless guy the soloist is based on during a 20 20 airing. Foxx was that guy. And he did some little quirky things in Collateral that stuck out to me. He played someone in over his head and kind of pitiful really well.
Thank you. I liked 'Insomnia' a lot: I think don't think Nolan gets enough credit for that film. I'll definitely be lining up to see 'Inception'.
I don't get it, people didn't like Insomnia or something? I thought everyone was down with that movie! The movie even has this effect on me where I get a headache watching it, I think due to all the white, so its like I feel what Pacino is going through in a way.
hahaha!! I was just thinking that. Saw the movie for the first time as an adult last week. This also looks like it could be Matrix Inside Your Head.
Jamie Foxx talking about Terrence Howard playing the same character... <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/aPIDBEaoov4&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/aPIDBEaoov4&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
