searched for a thread didnt find one saw a screening for this last night and it was one of the better movies i have seen this year. basically it deals with 4 different stories that have a connection with each other. each story can be told on its own though without having mentioned the other 3 and still have good meaning. The basic theme for all 4 is the utter lack of communication or willingness to communicate etc. Brad Pitt stars in the movie but has little screentime, the substory about the japanese girl really makes the film imo. 4/5 worth the price of admission but it is a tad long about 2.5 hours
I've been getting pretty interested in this since I saw the trailers. And I don't care what anyone says, Brad Pitt is a good actor. I like the Magnolia and Traffic approach with the different but connecting storylines.
Who said he wasn't? This movie does look promising, I think. I saw Little Miss Sunshine over the weekend...that was a pretty good movie. Not as many laugh out oud moments as I expected, but still really good.
Darn, I just checked that out. I was hoping that was a movie about Bob Marley, not just one of his songs.
