Gets released IMAX 3D tomorrow. Looks interesting and will check out tomorrow. Anyways, it's tracking $81.5 million for the weekend which is really good. Average reviews though with a 58% on RT but most of the top critics enjoyed it saying Tim Burton's Craziest film in the last decade.

Doesn't look like a film for kids. Doesn't look like a film for adults. The Golden Compass suffered from such a syndrome.

I will never watch this movie. I can't watch cartoons. This just looks ridiculous.

Still haven't seen Avatar, probably never will.

    Avatar is sick.

As an adult, I've enjoyed numerous Pixar movies.

Waltz with Bashir is another GREAT animated movie. 96% on RT.

I am getting bone tired of the Tim Burton Movie....Misunderstood outsider (played by better looking Burton surrogate Johnny Depp) interacts with quirky but interesting woman (Burtons real life love Helena Bonham-Carter)...weirdness ensues. Repeat every darn year til the end of time.

I might watch this one on cable eventually to see Rickman and Glovers performance.

I'm sick of Tim Burton's crap. It just gets weirder and weirder, like all he's got going for him now is his schtick as the weirdo movie director.

This looks like just the next in his long line of "artsy" or "contemporary" junk.

A pity Depp is so schmitten with him.

Depp really needs to stop wasting his talent on crap like this. Will never watch.

I thought I was the only one that was not a fan of Tim Burton.
I think it started with the Uber Dark and Boring Batman movie.

I've never liked the "Alice in Wonderland" story, and I'm not a fan of Depp, so I won't see this movie. Like someone said earlier, I'm not sure who the target audience is.

Tim Burton is very much hit or miss and certainly an acquired taste. I loved Batman, Nightmare before Xmas and Willy Wonka but his flicks do give you a headache with his wacky vision. I'll see Alice just to see what crazy stuff he put in the story and throw in IMAX 3D might as well check it out.

    Typo.

    Yes.

Not an insult, a fact... Closed minded people annoy me. Saying you do not like animation in film, and you will not see a movie because of it, is all in all, idiotic...

I disagree, Depp is doing to much these type of movies/characters (Jack sparrow, willy wonka this). When I heard they made this movie I immediatly thought Depp would do the mad hatter.

The actress playing the red queen also does a lot of these type of characters.

I'm not that big of a fan of Tim burton, altough I liked Sleepy hollow and Sweeney Todd. I will probably watch this movie, just out of curiosity (altough I wonder why people write down if they are going to watch a certain movie, who cares if I watch the movie or not ).
