Anyone caught this yet? I went in with low expectations and came out glad I saw it. Bruce Willis and especially Mos Def put in good performances. I'd have to give this 4 out of 5 stars.
i really enjoyed it. went in expecting a "whatever" movie...left quoting mos def (with his accent) to my girlfriend. "what does it feel like" "you like how that feels" (from when he held the gun to the cops neck). thought it had EXCELLENT acting by both mos def and bruce willis.
Just another movie in a long line of Bruce Willis movies that I haven't been disappointed with. Compared with the garbage out there now, this movie is worth your money/time if you decide to catch a movie or two this weekend. There's another movie I have been anticipating that's about to start screening this weekend, I can't remember which one though...damn my memory! I was pleasantly surprised by Mos Def's performance, I thought he did a great job in his role.
I agree with everyone. I saw this past weekend and wasn't expecting much, especially with a PG-13 rating and came out pleasantly suprised. It was a pretty tense movie. Mos Def was awesome but he has been since he started. I think he is the best rapper turned actor, although Will Smith is pretty good too.
