OK. May I make a common sense suggestion? If you have not watched both Moutrie's games and Motiejunas's games you are not eligible to make an intelligent reply.
I have, but since I do not have a strong impression on either side, I will stay out of further conversations.
I've heard a lot of downer comments about Moultrie, but only good comments of late for DMo. Are they really that alike? And if so, why such difference in opinions?
one has been playing professional ball overseas in his natural position. the other is being drafted strictly on potential. if Moultrie is considered to have a better season next year, it's either because DMo has fallen flat on his face or Moultrie is providing minutes as a glue/hustle guy on a better team (see Leonard vs. Parsons debate) so much of this kind of evaluation is strictly subjective...who would you prefer on your team Thad Young or Luis Scola?
What exactly did you expect? The number of people on this board who have seen enough of either play even to make a casual fan prediction has to be very very small. You're a better poster to make these types of threads. At a minimum, you could have included (spoilered if you wished) some info on both players. Links to draft profiles, videos, interviews, stats, workouts and then your view.
fwiw: Moultrie and Motiejunas have played against each other...in the 2009 FIBA U19 World Championships, in the Final 8. Motiejunas won that matchup... http://newzealand2009.fiba.com/page...034/gid/46/grid/E/rid/6975/sid/4034/game.html
