I heard the tail end of a report on the radio about the Hawks and Knicks being in discussions.I was wondering if anyone else has heard anything and the possible ripple down effects on trades and free agency. ------------------
I heard Motumbo to Philly for Theo Ratliff, Toni K and a 1st round pick. Honestly that sounds like alot for Motumbo but I guess Ratliff being out 4-5 weeks could cost Philly home court in the West.
Why is everyone calling him Motumbo? Is his name not spelled Mutumbo? By the way, does everyone remember a few years back when Mutumbo accused Hakeem of not doing enough charity for his home country Nigeria and whatnot? Thats a helluva lot and I would hate to see an injured Theo sent down to Atlanta because of the Sixers being in the hunt.Ratliff sure has been snakebit by injuries,but is young with a ton of talent.I can see this deal from both sides.Motumbo could make Philly actually challenge for the whole enchilada. ------------------ the fan formerly known as....
