hoopshypeDOTcom actually has the best info on salaries. Anytime I brainstorm trades, I head over there to check out the contracts of other players.
To this day, I still cannot believe Rudy and CD gave Cato and Taylor a combine 80 million dollars. In fact those two combine for 15 million a year.
if only we could merge both of their strengths into one rebounding, shotblocking, dependable scoring, able to hit jumpshooting, machine.... that would be maybe a 15/9/1.4 player? still not worth 15 mil.
Please. Never put the words Cato, MOT, and contract in the same sentence, because it makes me sick to my stomach, every time I read it I agree with what 3Rings said. Cato's contract is one of the biggest screw ups in the history of the franchise. Giving a player a big dollar contract based soley on one out standing preseason game was insane. Oh, and don't forget Moochie's contract either. Offseason: 1. A new general manager 2. Rebuild around Yao Ming 3. Make it happen Les Raven
Duncan will make 15 mil in 05/06 season. Replacing those 2 guys with Duncan there will be no YOFs and SOFs and more.
