so tmobile is sending me a new phone because mine has broken yet again. They said I could choose between the rizr or the blast and I was wondering if any of you have knowledge of the 2 phones and know which one i should get. Some key features i care for are text messaging ability, photo/video, and sound quality...thanks for all the info
If you use stereo bluetooth I heard that the beat does not automatically connect to your stereo bluetooth device.
Don't get the Rizr! Personally I've had the worst experience with any Motorola phones. The sound quality is terrible, battery life is even worse and the phone always ends up with some kind of technical problem. I've heard that the Rizr has a bad speaker phone as well. When I had a Motorola, tmobile had to replace it twice because it was such crap. I'll never get another motorola again. Blast: My friend has this phone and she loves it. It has a QWERTY keyboard so that might take a little getting used to but everything else about it is pretty great. The phone takes awesome pics, I think it's a 1.3 mp camera. The sound is really clear too. The only thing I'm not a big fan of is that the slot for the battery and the ear piece is the same so you can't charge and use the ear piece together but that's just an individual preference. I have a samsung now and I love it so I say go for the Blast.
Razr's are prone to malfunctioning Samsungs will last forever Korea > Japan MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Seriously tho, I have the blast, and yes, it is a blast! also bluetooth does connect automatically. I have a samsung wep### ear piece and all u have to do is turn on bluetooth and it works automatically. I've heard of more moto's dying than penguins.
I've had a Motorola phone (first the V300, then the RAZR, now the RIZR) for 3 going on 4 years. I like Motos just fine. But then again, I'm not looking for some over the top amazing phone that gives you ridiculous capabilities. The RIZR has an amazing standby battery time - which is good for me, I hardly ever use my phone. I only charge it once a week, maybe twice if I use it a lot. The camera's better, it's got MicroSD, and I like the sliding action. A lot of features/options are hidden in menus/submenus/sub-sub-menus - that's my only pet peeve with it though.
My sister has a rizr, and I know nothing about it except the camera. The photo quality is the best I've ever seen on a phone. It's as good as some older digital cameras that I've used.
had my rizr for over a year and its been flawless. make sure you upgrade the firmware on the phone and update everything. I bought mine unlocked and its been great ever since i got it. the pictures i take are just as good as any compact camera i have.
That's the regular earpiece but what about the STEREO portion? That's the part I was worried about most.
i generally do not like motorola phones, but if you are into text messaging, i do not recommend the samsung blast. the key pad is really weird, and the letters aren't on the same buttons that regular phones have them on. just look at the pictures online and you'll see.
get the rizr thats what i have. unlike most motorola's its actually decent. and the camera is awesome. 2 megapixels
