    OK

we have seen them all... (hopfully) now decide what was the most gutless performance by our dear rocket's this season

btw - I did not include the Utah game from a few weeks back....simply because I blocked that one from my memory

Last night should win... hands down. The other performances were all with the "old regime" that would not have made the playoffs if it weren't for all the trades.

I would put the loss to Utah at home (after the ASG) up there as well. We were at full strength, with plenty of rest, and they were without Boozer... THAT was the most gutless performance.

I was lucky enough to miss the game last night, so my vote would have to go to the Hawk game. That game mad me sick....literally.

I believe we blew double-digit leads against the Hawks, Knicks, Bobcats, and Hornets.

Its between the Hornets and Bobcats II, since they were both at home and just terrible performances.

We've had some real lousy games this season, but the only one I would characterize as truly gutless was the Detroit game.

It was the only time this season where I could tell in the first quarter that they did not expect to win the game, and they really would rather not be out there on the court. It was the only time this season that I felt we simply were not a playoff team.

Plus, ClutchFans made Jeff Van Gundy cry, to where even he was ready to revamp his philosophy and open up the offense for the next game at Dallas.

I went with April Fools. My reasons are several:

    1. It was with our current tough minded roster, not the old roster full of softies.

    2. It was against the worst team in the league. They don't even have a young player that's as easily identifiable as a future star in the league like the Bobcats do in Emeka Okafor.

    3. It was at home in the thick of the playoff chase. While we'll most likely make the play-offs, there's nothing gauranteed with all of those teams within three games of us. We certainly aren't so locked we can afford to lose games at home to the worst team in the league.

    4. Even playing as terribly as we played the whole game, we still had an 18 point lead on them in the third quarter. This means for three quarters the Hornets played even more horribly than the Rockets, but then, with absolutely nothing to gain from the win, they pulled out some heart and stuck it to the Rockets. The Rockets should be ashamed of themselves.

April fools takes the cake. Usually when one of their main players sits out injured, its a rallying cry for a team to play even harder and 'win one for the gipper.' Instead, we blew an 18 point lead on our home floor against a crap team this late in the season. Oh well, as long as we bring it against the good teams during the playoffs...

what's even more ironic is our other star was out in the last game against the Hornets and that is exactly what the team did
