To put a positive spin on things and Thanksgiving is next week...

Thanksgiving is coming up and I couldn't help but to think about how thankful the Rockets and Warriors should be for the New York Knicks...haha ;)

    This That
    Joey Dorsey Kevin Martin
    TMac Jordan Hill
    Landry Lottery Pick
    Jeffries' expiring contract

We miss Landry, but his absence has allowed Scola to flourish. Who would have ever thought that Scola would average 22 ppg and 11 rpg?!

Kevin Martin may not have the abilities that TMac had when he was at the top of his game, but he also doesnt have the ego. Kevin Martin is able to get his points within the system without needing to dominate the ball. So far this season Kevin Martin has averaged 7 made shots per game for an average of 14.89 shots taken and 24.1 ppg. When TMac was at the top of his game in Houston he was making 9.17 shots per game and 21.28 shots taken for 25.7 ppg.

Jordan Hill still has a lot of potential, but in the early going doesn't appear to be worth the 8th pick in the NBA draft as of yet.

If we can still pull ourselves together this year, we can turn the Knicks pick into something really nice! Jeffries expiring contract may result in a nice draft day trade.

The Warriors should be very thankful for the Knicks because they gift-wrapped David Lee for them. The Golden State Warriors have had an impressive start to the season (7-4). After ten games last season they had a record of 3-8!

Amare Stoudemire should be the first to thank the Knicks.

The Knicks are probably one of the worst, if not THE worst run organization in the league at this point. They dont spend their money well and it clearly shows. Until they get a legit coach, they wont be going anywhere.

They do have a pretty good roster IMO this year, but at this point, its the coaching staff that is going to carry them into the ground.. again.
