I can't help a Rockets bias. I will watch a non Rockets game if it is on...if it is a great matchup...if I like the broadcasters and if I have money on it. And if 3 of the 4 aren't true I simply won't watch it. I don't care about LeBron, the Celtics, the Lakers or Jazz except as potential Rockets opponents. I will watch a midweek game between the Rox and Clippers, Nets or T-wolves.
The Rockets are really the only team I care about winning when I watch them so a Rockets game is about 10x more exciting than any other matchup.
The last couple of seasons, I would easily say the Golden State Warriors, but with the departure of B-Diddy & the lack of Monta Ellis right now, I don't find them to be as exciting. Currently, I'd probably say the Atlanta Hawks. Their starting lineup, minus Bibby, are all young, athletic players who can make a crowd go wild. You have Joe Johnson who can become unconscious at times behind the arc, J-Smoove who can make a poster of someone at will, Marvin Williams who is certainly becoming more of a complete player as years go by, and an energetic center in Al Horford. Also, I would say the Hornets when they get going (ie their playoff series with Dallas last season). When Chris Paul gets in a rhythm, it's exciting to see what he'll do next.
I don't have a most exciting team to watch. I'll usually watch a game if it is between two good teams. But Rockets I'm most excited watching the Rockets.
Trailblazers have a good young core of players with athleticism at every position, a good young star in Brandon Roy, an engaging young rookie in Greg Oden, and a good home crowd. Just a good good professionally run franchise that there Portland. Sometimes I like watching awful teams like the Thunder. Watch a bunch of lotto picks just trying to get their stats and highlights in, or make fun of them for being crappy. Clippers have been bad for too long to take seriously.
jeez guys! i understand the emotional investment there is with the rockets. of course its exciting to watch your favorite team play. however, lets pick the SECOND most exciting team AFTER the ROCKETS! ok?
Honestly? I don't really care for other teams outside of the Rockets. I used to enjoy watching teams like Denver (with AI) and Phoenix (I know, I know, but Nash was a pure magician for several years), but now I have little interest. I can't stand the Celtics because of KG's punkass, and I can't stand the official favoritism toward LeBron James. If I had to choose a team, I guess it'd be the New Orleans, incidentally I'll be able to watch both NO and Houston play against each other tonight
Suns Raptors Warriors Wizards Sixers Jazz As long as it's NOT those six teams i'll probably enjoy watching the game. I enjoy good defense, though.
My list would go: 1. Spurs 2. Jazz 3. Lakers 4. Mavericks Outside of those 4, I don't mind watching any other team. But I don't think I can possibly get excited for a non-Rockets team. A good ending or a hard-fought game, yes...but a particular team? I can't do it.
Celtics - because they play hard regardless of how bad the team is. Lakers - Kobe Spurs Basically top teams that are capable of advancing in the far into the playoffs.
