I'm really not a "homer", but my all-time favorites (watching live) would be in this order:

    1) Nolan Ryan
    2) Roger Clemmens
    3) Randy Johnson
    4) Craig Biggio
    Other) Jeff Bagwell

In person probably the 94 version of Jeff Bagwell. He was amazing that year.

The early 90s Nolan Ryan was also amazing.

On tv, I have to say the McGwire/Sosa HR summer. Then Pujols/Bonds

First player that came to mind.

Also agree with JumpMan and Buck on Vladimir Guerrero.

And...strangely enough...even though he was a singles hitter...always awesome to see Tony Gwynn go to work (edit: Agree with Buck again! :)).

And and...the one year that he was on fire...there might not have been a more entertaining player than Jose Lima.

I've always enjoyed watching dominant pitchers, so I picked Randy Johnson.

In the minors, yes. I saw him play 3 games in person while he was with the Bees and I knew he wouldn't last the whole season with them. Turns out it was only 20 games.

Saw Pedro Martinez. He's so small so it made his performance that more impressive.

When I was a kid about the age of 6 or 7 I would get so hyped over Willy Taveras... I was trying to get infield singles in little league because of him lol didn't last long though.

I'll have to add Mr. October to this list -- Reggie Jackson

and, I'll toss in some more pitchers not mentioned, yet.

Al Hrabosky (Busch Stadium went nuts when he took the mound). I once saw live a 15-pitch at bat between Hrabosky and Manny Mota. Mota just kept fouling everything off. That must have lasted 10-15 minutes.
    Mark The Bird Fidrych
    Fernando Valenzuela
and I also had fun watch Luis Tiant and Oil Can Boyd

anyone remember Tiant throwing the lob ball

Probably Griffey. What is Bonds' prime? Late career or early? He was probably more exciting when he was younger.

Jr was exciting for what he did at the plate & in the field.

The guy I wish I saw in his prime is Cesar Cedeno.

As far as pitchers go, I loved watching Nolan Pitch. As far as hitters and fielders go, I have to go with my favorite player growing up. Ken Griffey Jr.
