Here are my top 5: 5. Auto Racing: I cant get into lap after lap after lap of driving in a circle. Apparently country bumpkins think this "sport" is the bomb. 4. Women's hoops: Not seeing any dunks blows. 3. Pool: Its fun to play with your buddies, but why the hell would I want to watch others play?? The only exception of course is when the chicks are playing. 2. Horse Racing: Midgets ride 1 freakin' lap on doped up animals. Their snobby rich owners celebrate their victory in an air conditioned suite, with trophy wife in hand. Need I say more? 1. Bowling: How the hell is knocking down 10 pins a sport? Especially when all of the bowlers look like they were extras in 'That 70's show'.
How could you leave out fishing? OMG, that is the most horrible thing I have ever seen. And hunting too, they kinda go hand in hand.
Fishing and Hunting aren't competitive sports, they are leisure activities. But yeah I might have to throw those 2 in for Honorable Mention......
I gotta go with the fishing as the most boring sport. That being said, shouldn't someone named "Master Baiter" be a big fishing fan?
Hey I can put a worm or whatever other kind of crap they want on a hook better than anyone. I mean, come on, I have been fishing at least 5 or 6 times.
I used to think golf before I started playing the game. Tennis ranks high with me. I just can't get into it. Hockey bores me to tears, mainly because I've never taken the time to learn the game. I like baseball but watching it on tv can be pretty dull most of the time. Football and basketball are the two best to watch, imo. os
No I was watching Duke/Maryland and the Avalanche and Coyotes, then that chick came over and we watched Snatch. Please tell me you just saw the highlights on ESPN......
No particular order: 1) NHL - maybe if Houston had a team, I'd be a fan, but I find hockey absolutely boring. I had the free preview to Center Ice and I still couldn't watch it. I kept telling myself its a pro sport but nah I couldn't do it. 2) WNBA - I find this boring. I don't include women's college hoops in this category. I don't watch women's college hoops but I might glance at the rankings for Texas. 3) MLS & WUSA - I'm not including the men's and women's World Cup which I find interesting. I've been following the men's World Cup action since 1994. MLS and WUSA though are boring. 4) Lots of stuff on Fox Sports World - Aussie Rules Football (sorry guys ) 5) ESPN's Outdoor Games - poor Chris Fowler and Sean Salisbury.
out of the astoundingly boring sports Baseball , Tennis , Pool, WNBA, Tough Man Championships, Fishing, Hunting, Bowling and soccer I would pick Tennis as the most boring sport above all, I mean Its like watching people play Pong.
I don't find fishing that bad simply because I like the scenery at least. The same with golf. I find that boring as hell... worse than fishing. Baseball bores the hell out of me. But my absolute least favorite would have to be bowling. Stupidest thing I've ever seen. You watch it and I swear it seems like you're watching the same instant replay about 500 times. Same ball, same path, damn-near same result... over and over and over and over... ... and over and over...
Now that sounds pretty damned entertaining, if you ask me. During a rodeo in west Texas, I had to sit through cow milking (or the wild bovine mammary squeeze, as we dubbed it). I can't believe that's actually a rodeo event (farm rodeo, to be specific; not the much cooler ranch rodeos we see in Houston with bull riding and all). Since the above event isn't televised (that I've ever seen anyway, thank GOD), my vote has to go to any kind of racing: NASCAR, dog racing, horse racing. They're all terrible. I just can't watch NHL, unless they're showing highlights from a fight or something. I could get into baseball....but I've sworn it off until Selig is no longer the commissioner and there is a salary cap in place. Its just pointless watching the Astros lose every year and knowing that if they did do well, we wouldn't be able to afford keeping anyone around after a year or two. Just pointless to watch.....
Actually, I can't take credit for the Amish Rake Fights. I stole it from an old David Letterman top ten list: Top Ten Off-Season Sports on ESPN.
