I wish this wasn't so spot on. http://kilt.cbslocal.com/2010/11/08/whiner-texans-play-by-play-on-defense/
all triumph references get rep. You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to msn again.
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/fb/texansfront/7290910.html Nice to see he sleeps well at night. Love that little nugget of worthlessness. Comparing a 3 game stretch to half a season. Fair and Balanced! What it really does it let you know how badly we've slid - what was our worst 3 game run last year has become our every game this season. Too bad there wasn't a chance this spring/summer to look for guys that might help in an uncapped year. Too bad there was no way to evaluate the level of talent on the team during the camp or preseason and figure out if help might be needed. Dear god. So: KJ: 51% completion rate, 18 YPC, 12% of catches are TDs (1 in 9) GQ: 59% Comp, 14 YPC, 11% of catches are TDs (1 in 9) BP: 76% Comp, 14 YPC, 32% of catches are TDs (1 in 3) And yet, on Sunday, we saw several big disastrous plays in which Jackson was left and had no help over the top. The guy with less recovery speed than Dan Marino. The guy that could be juked by a monorail.
I heard a guy call into 610 and try to defend Frank Bush. Needless to say, it turned out to be his cousin.
The word is "porous." That tape is classically funny, but sadly true. Watching the Texans play defense is pure agony only surpassed by watching the UH Cougars play defense.
Remember the ESPN commercial a few years ago that had the Texans o-line with all of the linemen removed? It had Carr, the center, and the left tackle (I believe).... Our defense this year could be the same thing. Just have Mario, Cush, and Pollard and remove everyone else. That's what opposing QB's have to look at everytime they line up.
