If you're curious, the way to make sure you're never interrupted at dinner is to just go away. For the record, the Fire Management agencies have their stuff together... things may get bad given a worst-case scenario wildfire, but it won't get anywhere near Katrina bad. Also, FEMA's not the lead agency on wildfires like they are on things like, um, HURRICANES AND FLOODS.
I would love to see a list of who has hired the Disaster Management Consulting firm Brown formed as soon as he resigned as the head of FEMA.
