In this month's Playboy interview they interview the overrated Kanye West...

On his remarks against George Bush, saying on live tv that "George Bush doesn't care about black people":

Playboy: "Did the reaction suprise you?"

Kanye West: "A lot of people feel that Bush doesn't care about poor people. It's a common opinion."

Playboy: "But you didn't say he doesn't care about poor people; you said he doesn't care about black people. There's a difference."

Kanye West: "There just happen to be way more poor black people. If you pick at the statement, I'm sure you could find something wrong, but that was the overall feeling of America at the time."

(Translation: I'm clueless and I was talking out of my ass on live tv and it's alright because mindlessly bashing the president was the cool & "in" thing to do. Everyone was doing it.)

What else do you expect from the moron who says "Gold Digger is one of the biggest songs of our lifetime."? Dems really need to get some new flagbearers. Idiots like this guy are only hurting your cause.

Sorry bub, Kaynye West speaks the truth.

Most black American's do infact feel as though Bush doesn't care about them. So don't kill the messenger even though you think the messenger is an idiot.

Now, it was a pretty damn funny delivery and he often says dumb things but he hit the nail on the head that time. If you don't like the man, fine. But I'm telling you (and you can chose to dismiss it if you want) that black folks would concur.

But don't confuse him for a spokesperson. He just happened to have spoke the truth that one time.

    Umm, can you read?

The issue is not about him expressing his feelings. The issue is him being completely ignorant about what he was saying or why he was saying it.

There is a distinction between being poor and being black, whether or not this moron and his supporters like to admit it.

So do I.... especially Susan Sarandon...

It's not about liking or disliking, though.

Kanye West is about as much a flag-bearer for the Democratic party as Toby Keith is a flag-bearer for the Republican party.

They're musicians, folks.. individual members of society entitled to their own thoughts and opinions.. not elected or appointed party officials.

You don't have to be a Democrat to hate Bush.. that big tent has an open door policy..

Just trying to put what you wrote in one instance in a proper context to what you wrote in another instance...

Also, it's kind of funny.. I've been hearing people use this line since Bush was elected.. it died down for about a year after 9-11.. but everytime someone criticizes Bush.. I see someone throw it out as "the 'in' thing to do".

I guess it has been the 'in' thing to do for 6 years running.. that's quite a fad.

Anytime I read someone talking or writing about someone else "hating" poor people, or black people, or the President of the United States, I just write it off as immature drivel.

Black folks would concur because they have been pimped by guys like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

Kanye is an extremely talented and hard working dude. It's too bad that all that creativity is channeled in such a poor direction, musically and politically. Just think of what he could create and the positive influence he could have on his brothas if he didn't spend all his free time staring at p*rn, playing with hos, and listening to other left wing radicals pimp his whole demography. He's just another tool of the sad sack system that they have in place to keep their own people poor, dumb, and blind and produce the next generation's Uncle Tom's.

Will the real Uncle Tom's please stand up? (que Jackson, Sharpton, etc.)

Yeah, Sharpton and Jackson do. That's why they keep raising all this money and stirring up political unrest to feed their bellies. If they didn't have those poor black people, they'd have to get a real job. You bet they care. And they ain't going to empower them either. Otherwise, they lose their power base and their INCOME.
