Throughout the years, Rudy T has picked up more than his fair share of scrubs. Can you name them all?? Morlon Wiley- Anyone who knows the name Morlon Wiley can call themselves a true Rockets fan. He along with a 2nd rounder were acquired from Dallas in 1995 for Scottie Brooks. Morlon was released that same evening. Brooks cried like a girl after being traded. Chris Jent- picked up from the CBA in 94 because of injuries. Played well against Phoenix in round 2. Released after season Larry Robinson- another CBA refugee was not on playoff roster in 94. Melvin Booker- out of Mizzou, Rudy T got him to help out at PG in our injury plagued 96 campaign. Albert Burditt- 2nd rounder out of Texas in '93. Never signed Eric Meek- 2nd rounder out of Duke in 94. Never signed Tracey Moore- out of UH; sucked Joe Stephens- Houston native; sucked Timmy Breaux- from Wyoming; absolutely terrible some more names for you: Serge Zwikker, Terrell Bell; Venson Hamilton; Tyrone Washington ....this is fun. Name some more guys.
Anyone who owns the 1994 Championship Rockets team caricature T-shirt knows that the two gentlemen in the back row of the group are none other than . . . Eric Riley and Richard Petruska (Also, everyone on the Rockets 1993-94 roster was on that shirt except for Larry Robinson. Sucks for him, I guess.)
How about John Vallely, Don Adams, Dick Cunningham, Don Smith, McCoy McLemore, John Egan, Dick Gibbs, Rudy White, Mack Coleman off the top of my head. These guys were pre-CBA.
