Scola is just a notch under the Gasol trade, so yeah, i think it's no contest.

the above is correct. although ariza has yet to prove himself in hou
the rest of it is already established as totally solid moves

    i would add, keeping chuckwagon.
and does picking up wafer get credited to morey too?
did more have a hand in bringing in battier?

Stealing three very talented rookies in 2007 is definetly his best move
drafting landry and AB out of no where and stealing scola from the spuds
hope Chase, JT and David Anderson turn out the same although i really
    doubt it.

It has to be the Scola trade. The team needed a pf and He got the team a pf that would live up to his reputation abroad. A close second is the drafting of Brooks and Landry. Getting two major pieces in one draft is a great accomplishment. A distant third is getting Artest. He did help the team ( some way ) to reach the 2nd round. Others moves like Ariza and Andersen is still too early to determine whether its good or a bust.

One move that "COULD HAVE BEEN" the best move was setting up a trade to get Brandon Roy. However PRICKchard screwed us royally on that one.

    Scola for Spanoulis.

Almost like Dirk for Traylor, except that Dirk is more talented.

That was officially the first year of Morey. It was the 2007-2008 season. He took over from CD.

well you are right about the year he took over, but the Battier trade and failure to grab Brandon Roy was in 2006.

Scola by far. He is the heart and soul of this team.

morey has basically struck gold in the draft the past 2 years.

    AB + Landry
Donte Greene then trading for Artest
Chase Budinger looks to be yet another sleeper
Joey Dorsey and Taylor could be serviceable players in the league.

I was referring only to the Scola trade and Landry/Brooks draft. When I gave the comment, it was to answer these two transactions only.
