Guess what CP3 is all those and more. Wiltjer will leave the league in less than 3 years. Harrel and Dekker are basically energy guys without size to play the 4 or skills to play the 3. Combine Bev's defense and Lou's shooting, put them on steroids and you get Chris freaking Paul and you guys are still complaining? I do think that an all star forward could have improve the squad more than CP3 could. But as many posters said, you take the best player available and you put pieces around them.

I think the deal would have looked a lot better with a signed extension from CP3 but calling Morey a horrible GM is a little over the top.

We gave up 2 players from last years playoff rotation for Chris Paul. That's a steal. We threw in the youth of Dekker, Harrell, and the draft pick but those guys aren't needle movers. Stop revising this trade because of what happened with Paul George. The two aren't related.

-landed harden with players who are irrelevant -got Dwight Howard to Houston(and got that team to a conference finals) -got CP3 with most of the players not really mattering -got k mart and the Knicks first round pick that year(Jordan hill I think) for an old broken t mac -not to mention keeping this team afloat after the Tmac-Yao years. You know how many teams would kill to have morey? The Knicks for one. What he's done for just being a nerd as Lou will likes to call him, is unbelievable
