I'm afraid D. Morey actions are like a double edge sword.. 1. He usually has the Rockets in a better position in regards to trades. 2. Yesh! Trevor hasn't played well, agreed. But damn! Catastrophe is a loaded word.. Hati was a Catastrophe.. He hasn't crashed and burned yet.. He has done well since the All-Star break.

I think Morey has positioned us nicely in regards to trades.. He still thinks we can do something in the Sign and Trade market in the summer of 2010 while everyone else is vying for the Free agent market in the simmer of 2010.
Despite all the accolades, we're still a .500 team struggling to make the playoffs. DM will deserve the sun, moon, and stars if we are truly championship caliber.
Being the nerd I am, I read that as a real original LBJ reference, who quickly went from new Senator to Senate Majority Leader... he was one of the youngest Senate leaders ever and probably the greatest Senate Majority Leader in the history of the institution. So, if you consider the GMs as club of powerful people from all over the country, the real LBJ reference works quite well. (Sounds like Morey, no?)
