The wizard was at the stros game today and was talking about next years Rockets. He talked about the importance of getting Miller. He said Miller will give us solid minutes at Center. He was also happy getting Scola and Lowry back. He also said that "Yao is on track and is going to be ready for training camp." He said Yao will "definitely be there for game 1" and he will have limited minutes to begin the season but will increase over time.....
    Good to hear.

Cool, it will be interesting to see how Yao meshes with the new style of play.

Naw, its gonna be the other way around. The team is gonna have to adapt to Yao, not the other way around. You adapt to star players, they don't adapt to you.

Perhaps ClutchFans should float a non stalking agreement; I am starting to feel sorry for Morey. Seriously, I guess these are "chance" meetings, I just hope no one is following him around.

it's not like Ed Wade has any note worthy things to say these days...

"Guys, just wanted to let you know...we still suck. And it's looking that way for a long time..."

Not many people go to astros games and when someone like Morey or Camby go, they will be found at the game.

Ya, I wonder how the rockets will play. Will they be all halfcourt style or will they still run and gun with Yao in. Will it be only the bench who runs and guns?

Hopefully it is like the Lakers with Magic and Kareem, where Kareem would rebound and Magic would break and if there was no early offense they would set it up and work it down low.

Hmmm. Interesting. I just hope that if that is the case, AB can make better decisions on the break than last year. He was fine for the most part but I hope he can minimize those mistakes. i.e He would jump in the air with nothing to do and would end up throwing it away.

Ha you must be high... Morey has built this team to either have Yao Ming as the main piece or without. Just look at our team... It's built for speed. Yao isn't a star anymore. You can't depend on him health wise.

AB will be better in certain areas from last year. The bigger question is how effective will he be without having to score as much.

Can he be GM of the Astros as well?

Maybe Yao and Mr. Alexander can buy the team.

Maybe he was there to watch the team that he will manage and therefore transform into a watchable and winning franchise.

Um if you want any chance at the playoffs or a championship, you HAVE to rely on Yao being a star and the main piece when he's in there, especially in very limited minutes. Yao being healthy = Yao being the most dominant center in the league...so we as Rockets fans must pray for his health.

Yes that is true but it would be foolish to put money on Yao ever being that player again. As a fan, I hope he can turn it around but we're only counting on Yao for this year and so is Morey. If Yao can't play at a certain level for us, it would be foolish to re-sign him.

He's been a surprisingly good sport, but I agree. He's got a lot to think about!

Yao won't have to worry too much about that!
Coach Adelman will adapt the game to include Yao.
Especially the starters! When Yao sits the game will
have a change of pace and the speedsters will perform. :p
