In the SUN-SENTINEL, Ira Winderman reports that after being "out of the league for nearly two seasons," Ike Austin "was getting settled in Tuesday at AmericanAirlines Arena, hopeful, at 34, of making a return to the league in the lone place where he had flourished in his nine pro seasons." Austin again is looking to the Heat to "resuscitate his NBA career." Austin "spent last season with the Xinjiang Flying Tigers" of Western China. Miami has also signed veteran point guard Bimbo Coles who had been with Boston. Detroit Pistons President of Basketball Operations Joe Dumars announced today that the club has signed free agent forward Darvin Ham to a contract. Per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed. Ham had been with Atlanta.
I don't see anything about Iverson signing a 4 year, $77 million deal, that happened. Thats a crapload for only 4 years....Francis got a 6 year MAX and that was only like $83 mil. "We talkin bout practice yall. PRACTICE!"
