Clutch, trivia question for you since your handle is "Clutch". Who was called "Mr Clutch" who played in NBA for many years, averaged about 30 points in NBA playoff games, scored 63 points in a game in which sat out much of last quarter, NBA logo player on NBA player jerseys was his profile dribbling the basketball????FREDTERP

West, Jerry West. I drove through Cabin Creek, West Virginia a couple of weeks ago.

Rich, good answer. Since you mentioned Cabin Creek, they also used to call Jerry West "Zeke from Cabin Creek". IMO, the best NBA team ever started: Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain (100 points in a game once), and Elgin Baylor (71 pts in a game once). That particular year that Laker team won 33 straight games in a row, also had best winning % and games won until Bulls broke it (despite expansion teams that Bulls played). In reference to the 71 point game that Elgin Baylor had: Hot Rod Huntley (former Laker, WVU All-American and Phoenix announcer) once said " I will never forget the game that Elgin and combined for 73 points in the Garden, Elgin had 71 and I had 2".
