Southwest Airline's in flight magazine "Spirit" has a 4 page article on Stevie Francis!! Grab that one, next time you fly SWA. It's the Feb 2001 issue. Selected quotes: "I want to save my legs and shoot jumpers, and maybe in my last five or six years I can still be dunking." ------------------------- To get to the top of his game, Francis also has come a long way in his personal life; he attended three high schools and three colleges before landing in the NBA. When he came back for his second season with the Rockets this year, it was the first time in he had returned to the same team in his basketball career. But he has kept his head straight, he says, because his grandmother, Mable Wilson, will knock it off if he doesn't. "She calls me everday," he says. "We talk about everything." -------------------------- Francis' next order of business is to make sure that the Rockets make it to the playoffs this year. In fact, it's his only goal this season.
