Lord does this team get away with crap in their arena. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ba...an-and-whistle-help-Jazz-hold-?urn=nba,133110 <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/AiK51nxUiOY&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en&feature=player_embedded&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/AiK51nxUiOY&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en&feature=player_embedded&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> If you have a whistle in the stands swallow it... are you kidding me?
Sneaking a whistle into a basketball game is one of the more underrated pranks imaginable in the sports world. Granted, you can only get away with it once or twice before security sniffs it out, but as you see here you can completely throw off the game. Or in the mindset of a Jazz fan: cheat. P.S. That's probably the only time you'll ever see Kyle the Rat dunk, drive or even entertain the thought of attacking the basket. P****!
I hate the Jazz, but I don't see reason to accuse them of "cheating" it is reflective of their fans. the PA announcer was giving a warning to the fan and the security guards appeared to be taking action. the team, they took advantage of a loud arena and kept playing ball. i don't know what the proper recourse would have been, since there is no official rule regarding fans and "noise" interference, only verbal interference.
the jazz have a history of doing this crap. I remember something about a guy bringing a saxaphone to the game and blowing it before the actual buzzer.
im guessing to create a situation that allows the jazz to score 2 points just like the video showed...
rofl hilarious, sucks for the warriors, if it was against the rockets, i'd buy a ticket to utah and strangle that fan but again..... i once thought of doing that, hahaha, but i never did because i cant get past myself for cheating
i remember that it sounded like the buzzer they used at the arena. i mean it makes no sense to allow a fan to come in with a huge instrument like that what was security thinking. a whistle is a lot easier to get in and makes sense to do i am surprised something like this doesnt happen more often
This really sucks but it sucks for the Warriors. I used to have a coach that said never stop playing unless you are sure its a ref's call. Even if you hear a whistle, complete the play. Im also surprised it doesnt happen a lot, i know it happens a lot in soccer. Not just the fans, some of the players have whistles too just to confuse other players which is why most soccer players will complete a play even after hearing the whistle just in case
yeah, it really sucks, it just happens to be the most watched and most popular sport in the world. I understand the jazz hatred, but its not like its the jazz management that orchestrated that whistle blow for only 2 points. And everyone stopped after the whistle was heard, the warriors were just too slow to understand what just happened
