Marbury's out. Should be an important win for us on Sunday against the Nets.

btw what happened to Marion.... only 3 mins and 2 pts for Suns - Suns won it anyway with good production from Googs... and Kidd is also on a tear lately.

And some more good news. We're making the playoffs. How great will it be for us, in a rebuilding year, to be the "team that no one wants to face in the first round." We have so much potential to make some noise in the playoffs that I find myself willing the Rockets into that 8th spot. If Minnesota had just not gone on that fluke of a winning streak just before the all-star break...

    Game notes
Suns F Shawn Marion sustained a contusion on his left knee in the first quarter. He returned briefly in the second quarter and then left the game. He is day-to-day. ...

As long as Marion's out tomorrow, I'm happy. The Suns have a tough time winning without him.

Not to wish harm on anyone, but I do hope he doesn't play tomorrow. Either way we MUST win.

Nets won the lotto... Twice in fact, in 90 to get Derrick Coleman and last year for Martin...

Both are huge busts... I already give up on Kenyon...

Nets are tanking now. The Martin injury is legit, I'm sure. But after that happened, it sounds like they decided to pack it in. Marbury is out with a tendon injury in his non-shooting pinky finger? An injury he's had for many weeks now? If I was the league office, I'd fine them for being so obvious. I don't know what the rest of the team was thinking when they went out and won anyway. But I don't expect any fight from them. By the time we play them, I'm sure coach will have explained to everyone that they need to lay down.

Does anyone ever feel sorry for the Nets?

    Suns: Marion Injures Knee

    by Fanball Staff - Fanball.com
    Thursday, March 29, 2001

    News
Shawn Marion suffered a left knee contusion in the first quarter of last night's game against the Cavs. He returned in the second quarter, but then left for good shortly thereafter. The Suns are listing him as day-to-day.

    Views
The Suns play in Houston tonight and we're guessing Marion was held out of the second half last night to get him ready for the Rockets. Marion is questionable, but we feel confident he will start and rock Houston's world

Milwaukee should have kept Marbury when they drafted him.
