If a team can find a way NOT just to lose but to let the other team cover the spread like the Rams (-3.5) did last week with a TD in OT after been down 27-17 with 30sec left The Texans are destine for the #1 pick. So place your bet against your 1-11 Texans Ravens 24 Texans 13
Tough call. Ray Lewis and Ed Reed have been out a while, so I'm guessing they aren't going to play in this one. Texans may have a shot...
DieHard, I am not afraid even if murderer Lewis comes back and his defense is on the top of its game. Bring it on. Texans 35 Ravens 21 Of course, this is the only thing that can cheer me up after yesterday's brouhahaha..hahahaha.
Be sure to look for me on TV at that game kiddos. I'm flying out to Baltimore on Friday after the Stones concert on Thursday night. I will be sitting at the 40 yard line with my brother, a big Ravens fan. I will be wearing a vintage 1972 Oilers Ken Burrough jersey (number double zero) and a bag over my head with Texans stickers on it with WHAT HAPPENED??? written in black magic marker across the top.
That's awesome! We had this penciled in as a game we would try to attend since the wife has a lot of friends/family in the area.
That's cool that she has lots of friends and family up there. It's a great part of the country to visit. You'll love it.
I'm with you on this one Gunn. I really think the only TDs that will be scored on Sunday will be from the defenses, like a returned pickoff for a TD. It will be a difficult game to watch.
Believe it or not, the Ravens defense is not good this year. Texans should be able to score at will on these guys.
Should be able to, but being on the road with an offensive line that resembles a New Orleans levee, won't be able to.
Which of you "winners" was crapping your pants about the money you bet with 30 seconds to go against the Rams? Gambling is anything but a "free money" machine. It's a bad habit to get into. And basing your "success" on the hapless 2005 Texans is a trap best avoided.
quick question out of curiosity. If you made your bet when the line was at -6 and it moved to -8, do you get to keep the -6 line?
yeah you get what the line was when you placed your bet. that being said...i am just not sure if the ravens offense can cover this line. granted our defense is really really bad but the ravens are only averaging just over 13 ppg. i like the under of 37 better than the ravens -8.
