he should be able to play through it. It might affect his shot somewhat, but I don't think it will mean he can't shoot at all. Anyways, it might be a good idea to have him out there some in the pre-season he can't shoot as much, so he'll distribute the ball more ;)

It wasn't on his shooting hand, some tape and no problem.

Why is one of Moochie's shoes white and the other one red? That does look like it hurts pretty damn bad though.

I don't know if it's just that his shoes are red on the inside and white on the outside, but at the Rucker @ 155th it's a common fashion trend to buy two pairs of the same shoe in different colors and switch em up.

Aren't those shoes the "And1" shoes that Latrell Sprewell wears? They are red on the inside of the outside of the shoe (if you know what I'm sayin). And the Outside of the ouside of the shoe is white.

i did the same thing to my ring finger in high school in football practice. the coach just popped it back into place. it was still a little crooked, but i played the same week....
eventually though having a crooked finger got annoying so i had surgery on it...
but he shouldnt be out for an extended period of time....

Hopefully, it is the first and the last. I don't ever pray to the basketball gods, but I will pray now: Please basketball gods, atleast let the rockets have a pretty healthy team if not a fully healthy team. don't let us go through a season of injury again. It is too heartbreaking. Let us just see what we can do this year, haven't we suffered enough with you taking Hakeem, Charles, Steve, Rice, MoT, etc, etc, etc in these past few years? Have mercy on our souls.;)

well, so much for my theory...
but im going to go out on a limb here and say that moochie norris is not VITAL to making the playoffs.

    What was your theory?

I dont think he is vital, but it could pose some problems if steve misses some games (i hope to god he won't). I really think tierre is a step down from moochie. Maybe not in skill (although I think the mooch is a better player) but definitely in leadership ability and the energy moochie brings to the squad.

Y'know...all through the pregame I kept hearing about how much better off we are from last preseason...how our injury situation is looking so good.

I kept thinking: SHUT UP about it already! I know its superstitious, but I kept thinking they were jinxing it.

    Then we lost Moochie....:(

Dont worry about it too much yall, in three weeks the regular season will be just starting. He may only miss 2 or three regular season games.

thanks for the reminder, jw. Maybe it's a good thing because it'll give Tierre and Tito some much needed minutes.

I don't think there's ever been a year without injuries. If people are going to get injured, I'd rather they get them over with now during preseason than in the regular season. :D
