why do we keep playing to one side of the court --- where are the slashers to the basket, the backdoor cuts? we're playing one on one.. there are no passes being made... so when there's a miss. the sonics run the other way with the rebound. basketball is a simple game! break down the defense, and make the pass to the open man!
That's because Hakeem is clogging up the lanes, making the offense stagnant and ruining the fast break. Oh wait, Hakeem plays for the Raptors. I guess its another example of Rudy's one page playbook/gameplan.
Although the Rockets were the losers in this one, I think Mooch played fairly well. His dribbling was a little much, but not that much more than he usually does. I'm just flat out pissed over the officials. They were a disgrace. Anybody have their email? Coddamnit!! But anyway...I'm proud of the Rockets anyway. They played without Stevie and KT, and almost had a chance to win the game. Kelvin showed a little improvement, but still needs more heart. I'm just rambling on....I hate when the Rockets lose. Cod
you know, there was just an article about how the rockets need to pass the ball more, but all moochie did today was play selfish iso-type basketball. he was so anxious to shpw up the sonics, that he forgot about all those assists he racked up against portland. it is very simple, the rocks shooting percentage sucks 'cause they continue to play the same ball they did last year before the zones. and don't say that not many teams play the zone, they almost all play some form of zone against the rockets. we need francis. he is our answer.
Matt Maloney, would be an upgrade to Moochies play this season. Maybe Charles Barkley can loan Matt his Fro Wig, then he could be Moochie Maloney. So who is getting paid more to do nothing? Matt Maloney or Moochie?

As the game progressed, the other three guys might as well have been back in Houston-no way they were getting the ball. It's boring and ineffective. Yeah, one-on-one against a zone for 22 seconds and then.......BRILLIANT STRATEGY!! The best group on the floor all nite was in there the last 5-6 minutes before the half when Mobley played point and Moochie was sitting. Torres, Griffin et.al. looked very effective. I know, without Francis and Thomas our options were limited. BUT PULLEEASE STOP DRIBBLING AND START PASSING
Moochie thinks he is the man which he is not but he can only run plays. Rudy has two plays. High picknroll, Wing picknroll, they both suck. Opponents just need to watch about 10 min of film to figure out how to stop us. Especially with Moochie as our point. It is pretty simple we need to to quit running those plays with Moochie in the game. It is on Rudy T and his staff to change this not just Moochie.
