    I guess Chicago REALLY wants our Point Guards. The Bulls wish they could have Francis, and whatever their ABA team is wants Mooch. Check out the list, some of the names are NBA guys (as well as tall guys in Michael Ri, and Yao Ming). Let's try to keep this about Moocher, and not NBAers, or this thread goes to NBA Dish.

    Here's everything I know, also from bskball.com:

    08/16-ABA HAS DRAFT AND SOME JOKES- If your not aware there is a new basketball league starting called the ABA2000, yes, its a new version of the old ABA, including the red, white, and blue ball. All league typically hold a draft, and in these drafts the team select players rights from a pool, just like the NBA draft. All this does is allocate the rights of certain players to certain teams. These players are under no obligation to play for this league. All the draft process does is establish SHOULD a player elect to play in that league, a certain team that gets him first. Most minor league drafts features team selecting the cream of the 2nd round crop from the NBA draft and the guys that might not have been selected. Well, the ABA got cute, see this is their inaugural draft and they are filling rookies and veterans, so the teams got a chance to draft rights to current players. And here are the highlights----The #1 Pick--Eddie House......1st pick in the 7th round-Dennis Rodman....2nd pick in the 7th- Dominique Wilkins......The Last pick in the 2000 ABA draft.....Tim Hardaway.
