Let's take it as a given that the Moochie will be back

    CAN HE IMPROVE
    WILL HE IMPROVE

He was good two seasons ago
Last season is was barely adequate
    [I'm being generous]

I think Moochie has some positives
ESP when he hungry. . . I think last years
was him being satisfied. . . hopefully the fire
    will return this year.

Am I the only one that thinks HE CAN DO IT!

    Rocket River
    Looking for the positive

I think I have a higher chance of improving to become an "adequate" NBA player. At least I am much younger. :p

Moochie got lucky and had a coach in Rudy T who was way too loyal to his vets. Even if they stunk it up more than half the time, Rudy stuck them in regardless. I hope JVG isnt like that and I dont think he will be. Did you all notice his minutes went down when Mr. Mean took the team over?

You could see it in Moochie after he signed the big contract he is the cockiest CBA player in the NBA of all times. It is all cause of the money and he got comfortable and he sucks. Pretty much yeah Moochie sucks pretty bad.

I think the games of all the players will get a jostle with the new coach. Some guys will play better while others play worse. I think Moochie has a legit chance of becoming a productive player again. The downside is that any of our guys from Yao and Francis on down run a risk of losing their productivity as well. If Rudy was still the coach, we could have expected the status quo from the players with Moochie likely continuing to be unproductive. With VG here, everyone starts over.

I think that Moochie will change his style of play or he will sit the bench. JVG hopefully will not put up with his dribble mania and sit him down the first time he does not run the offense as directed.

Now, does he really care if he sits? That is the question. If he really wants to play and not sit, then I think that he can return to the player of two years ago. Just up to him if he wants to play or sit.

Moochie Norris can play and can make a serious contribution to the 03/04 Rockets. He will no longer be under the direction of the leadership of Rudy/Francis. JVG and his Team will be leading and demanding of their players at every stage and action. If Mooch wants to get more assists than Francis all the more power to him then the Team will play better Team Basketball. The one thing that must change is 'Dribble Mania'.

People forget that moochie is 30 years old. HE ain't young anymore, he's a freakin vet on his prime if he can't make a steady contribution for this ball club next season ,we might have to cut him. If it wasn't for his hai style, he would have been treated like Tierre brown.

If Cato can improve, anyone can improve. Let's hope for some deja vu.
